I've always been reluctant to do this but now that I'm @ rock bottom, I'm going to give it a shot.
I need one person to do this weight loss thing w/me for 4 weeks. You must be serious and committed. No excuses. No dropping out. No bullshit. To do this you must okay w/having a realistic weight loss goal of 4lbs in 4 weeks and you must have a plan for your eating and exercise, drinking water is optional.
Every single day we will report on how we did food wise, workout wise and optionally water wise. Every week we will report our weight.
To make sure you are committed as I am, @ the start of each week we'll put $5 in a pot @ the end of 4 weeks, we will hopefully be 4lbs lighter and the $40 pot will be donated to charity, if it's cool w/you I'd like to do a diabetes related one. Winning back our health is prize enough, and the donation means there is no loser.
There are a few requirements and I'm sorry but it's my schtick, my rules, feel free to modify it and mimic it on your own site if you don't agree, but I want someone who is close to my weight +/- 10lbs, so 184-204lbers only.
If you are in the 170's or over 200 and I know you to be committed person, maybe we can still team up. I'd like to keep it as a one to one buddy thing, but the most people I'll do this with, myself included, is 4. W/a small group, no one gets lost in the shuffle.
Experience has taught me, when group challenges start, people are excited for the first week, fizzle out by the end of week 2 and by week 4 they are ghost. You can not do that, I mean you can, b/c I'll never be able to hunt you down and pummel you, but that's why I'm looking for serious people only.
Think really hard, if you know you'll dip out in a few weeks, please don't bother w/this.
So again,
I need 1 person, no more than 3, who'll be committed to losing weight for the next 4 weeks, we start Sunday the 12th.
- Ideally you must be in the 184-204 range, but if you aren't and are just as frustrated w/your weight as I am and would like to lose 4lbs, that's fine.
- You must be willing to part with $5 a week for the next 4 weeks
- You must check in daily, no need to have a blog, I'll set it all up and by checking in I mean report what you ate, what exercise you did any obstacles or hoorays moments for that day. I don't care if you ate a cow and her calf, spill it!
- You have to internalize that if you don't check in you would have let me down and I'll be sad and you'd hate to have a sad Renee on your conscious and I'll do likewise, the day I'm tempted to skip the gym and sleep in, I'll picture you posting a sad smiley face and I'll get my ass outta bed...just for you.
That's pretty much it, only serious fat chicks who wanna be serious fit chicks need apply. Unlike the fat fighters year long fitness challenge where I'm very very flexible, this is not the same understanding it's okay Renee. This Renee is a bitch and will be in your ass and expects you to do the same to her.
I am purposely leaving off the sign up link b/c I want this to really marinate and not be an impulsive, "I'm in!", sorta thing.
I know it sounds exciting and it may be the motivation you need to get your duff in gear, but I'm looking for commitment more than excitement. If by Friday you still feel you want to do this and know you'll stick with this for 4 weeks, you'll find the sign up link waiting for you.
