Oh how I've missed my blog ::blows air kisses::
I'm not 110% back yet, but I'll @ least be posting this week, only thing that'll still be on hiatus, is the daily log. You know the daily weigh in and eats/sweats section that tends to fill up the first ½ of the page.
Mainly b/c my fridge is gone, so I'm really eating on the run this week. My vitamin/supplement cocktail is packed up in some box I'm too beat to look for and my scale has gotten moved around on more than on occasion. I don't want to weigh until it's back to a permanent spot and I'm still working on the apartment.
Speaking of which, I am exhausted, muscles I never knew I have ached and I blame it all on moving the fridge.
I have a mini fridge, but not the typical square kind, it's two doors and actually pretty sweet. I had to lug it down 2 flights of stairs and get it into my car, which is such a horrible story I'm blacking out @ remembering it. Alls I remember is, it took me about a ½ hour and I was DRENCHED in sweat. Then I had to get it out the car, down a gravelly slope, down a few flights of stairs and into it's new location.
Luckily they had a dolly and the landlord was there and helped me. Over the weekend I put up a few shelves, started unpacking my dry goods, ended up tossing all that was in the fridge and freezer, the bags I got didn't keep the frozen frozen and I went to IKEA before I unpacked. It was all a soggy mess when I got back.
I was a bit bummed, but I dunno, a random chat w/my aunt had me thumbing threw the weekend papers, I saw the supermarket specials, found a recipe for something I'd like to try, and all of a sudden I was bit.
W/the cooking bug.
I spent the rest of the weekend planning on the new items to restock my fridge, now that it's completely empty, and in a moment of inspiration, went to the supermarket and picked up 3 cooking mags and prowled cooking sites. I'm so excited I'll be able to cook, really cook not just nuke thing.
I even made my grocery list and meal plan...for next week...hee...I'm all geeked to cook my meals for the upcoming week and putting them in little containers for me to grab and go...*wheeee*
So that was Sat and Sun. Yesterday I planned to go put up my last 3 shelves, but was soooooooo tired, I could barely move. I just lazed around the house and relaxed, I mean I'm in a rush to leave, b/c I hate having my things all spread out, but @ the same time, I want to make the spot feel homey, so I like that I can go in the evening and for a few hours get it looking like I want. When I'm not in Target, I've been living @ IKEA and feel pretty excited about how it's all going to look when I'm done. I PROMISE this time I will take pics and share it.
