Walking Tours

When I moved back intown, I researched the surrounding area. I'm technically not living in Atlanta, but in Decatur GA. While searching, I stumbled onto these walking tours. There are 3 levels beginner, intermediate and advanced, 2 of each, 6 in total.

I'm going to walk each route twice for a total of 12 walks. First time it'll be going, next time I'll reverse the route. I'm kicking this of next Sunday, rain or shine and will finally tie it into something I threatened to do here, oh I dunno, over a YEAR ago!, photoblogging & taking pics of my city.

Later that evening I'll post the shots I took.

I'm starting my tours next Sunday. Do you have these or something similar in your city?

Hello! Have I commented lately? I don't think I have. Anyway, hello! The walking tours thing sounds great. I haven't watched your videos in a while. I don't know why, I suppose I am lazy. I have totally thrown off the idea (FOR NOW) of losing any weight. But I have gone a total of EIGHT DAYS with no cigs. Eight days! That's like a record for me. And if I have to eat 3298579874 Hershey's kisses to stay off the cigs, well, that's a sacrifice I'll just have to make!!
Keep on truckin'! (whatever that means)  *hugs*

Such fun! We do have walking tours here in Ottawa as well. I've gone on the 'Haunted Walk' a few times! You're led at dusk by a guide in a cape carrying a lantern, who tells you ghost stories associated with various historic sites/buildings. It's not a long walk, but so much fun!

Enjoy!

Toronto has walking tours too that are really interesting. We did the haunted ghost tour in Ottawa when we were there in August. And we did a bunch of pub walks when we were in London, England, a couple summers ago. They are a great way to see a city.
