So, this loverly cub I have (says thru gritted teeth) has been waking me up each and every morning for the last week. Wayyyyyyyy before the alarm goes off. Some mornings 2 hours before which makes Renee very very angry.
I am in an efficiency so I can't just put her out, though the last few mornings I've thought about just leaving the window open, but I don't want her out @ night.
The other morning I snapped and let her out, she had some fresh air for about an hour before I needed to leave and lucky for me, as I headed to the car, she came running towards me so I scooped her up and put her back inside.
I'd leave the window open all day but if she finds an animal, she's bringing it in. I can prove that by posting pictures of random feathers she's found and brought her bounty indoors.
Anyhoo, she's been jumping on the bed to sleep, there is not nearly enough room, but I let her be till it's time for me to stretch out. Not sure what's up w/her bed, she's been sleeping near the window instead. Maybe it's too warm and she gets a cool breeze.
Anyhoo again, she was laying here snoozing and I did what I usually do, started brushing her, so I can hear her chirp and like a bolt, it hit me. I'M the problem. I've been waking her up from her little catnaps. Snickering @ being able to make her chirp. Damn near slapping my knees when she does it and Zeus forbid she doesn't...I just wait a 1/2 hour or so and poke her again. She complies.
But I s'pose it's my payback. She jumps on the bed, walks across my body, runs to her bowl. When I turn over, she jumps on the bed again. I don't want her to associate me w/food, so I usually feed her when I am walking out the door. So when I finally get tired of the pitter patter of paws walking across my head and actually get up...this little devil cat GOES BACK TO HER BED.
Bitch!
