Still here, still fat

The weekend was HECTIC. After living out of boxes and bags for over a month, I FINALLY unpacked my crap. Took just about the entire day yesterday, but I feel much better seeing my stuff and having things in a home. Took me ½ a second to find my nail clippers vs. tearing threw boxes for hours and weeks later not being able to find it.

On the fitness front, here's where things are at:

My plan was to start a fresh, clean slate and all that good stuff on Saturday 9/1, which I kinda sorta did. I basically recommitted myself to doing the 4 things that have always worked for me.

- 60 mins of cardio 6 days a week
- waking up early and working out first thing in the day
- drinking 100oz of water
- tracking what I eat, either food or # of calories

Real simple right? My downfall? Being inconsistent or focusing too much on one thing and neglecting the rest.

So this week the plan is to do one of the four, next week I'll do 2/4 and so on and son on. I'm tackling the 60mins/6 days a week first. I always feel better when I move my body and sweat a bit, which naturally makes me want to drink mor water and tires me out so I'm in bed super early and able to wake up an insane AM.

See how things flow together?

Of course today I left my iPod @ home which for 10 mins I had a HEATED debate w/myself on whether or not I'll even workout or if I should drive back home and get it *sigh* when you are in the habit of making excuses, anything'll do.

Instead I decided to use the time to just think. I even turned down the offer of putting music on in the gym. I just wanted to process things bubbling in my head. It was pretty tortuous, but it was over and I feel so much better having done it.

Other than that, so much is going on, it's easier to update on video or podcast and being on dial up, both are a no-no. I think I can record a video str8 to youtube, no uploading, but no fancy graphics and theme music either *harumph* but it'll have to do in a pinch.

Once I get that major update out of the way, I'll feel more organized in my posting.

I have a few challenges simmering in my head. One major one for the next 6 months and broken up into mini ones a 6 week, a 12 week and another 6 week.

This first 6 week one is to just get my mojo back. I'll use the first 4 weeks to reintroduce the 4 things that net me results and I'll use the last 2 weeks to make it all gel.

When I get my confidence back, I'll get all fancy for the 12 week challenge, but I wont look that far ahead right now, as I'm doing the fitness stuff, w/the new house stuff and the back to school next spring *cross my fingers* stuff, I'm striving for balance.

Oh and Biggest Loser premieres tonight, which means time to dust off the good ole category so I can do my recaps. Fun-ness!
