Week 1

Long time to speak.

I'm not entirely sure what I want to do w/this space just yet, I do know I miss writing. My life right now is so completely different that a year ago today, it's mind boggling. The biggest change, besides moving and getting settled, is for the last 2.5 months I've added 2 part time jobs to my life, which has pretty much zapped me of free time to do anything other than sleep and eat. Today I weighed myself for the first time in I don't know how long and I didn't have positive or negative feelings either way, I guess I'm pretty matter of fact about things.

For the last week I've mentally planned out what I'd like to do, reincorporating exercise into my life, figuring out a healthy way to eat when I no longer have access to my mini fridge and being gone from 7am to 11pm 6 nights a week means a lot of eating on the run, so I've come up w/a very basic approach I'll follow and tweak as I see fit.

For the next 4 weeks I will do the following 3 things:

1) Eat a healthy breakfast every single morning.

Right now it doesn't matter much what food choices I make the rest of the day, but for too long I've been skipping or eating a horrible breakfast.

2) Drink 20 oz of water every day.

Another thing I just stopped doing and am paying for it big time w/my face.

3) Do 30 mins of exercise 3-5x a week.

I had an ambitious goal of 5 days, but if I can ease myself back up to that by the end of the month I'd have done good. Exercise can either be weights or cardio, I just need to get moving. I already plugged in my shuffle that has been sitting on my desk for months.

Again, not sure what the site will evolve into, as I have changed and my free time is non existent, I used to be all about presentation and would freak out about having such a shoddy look, but until I can get around to it, this is what it'll be. At the end of the day the most important things are my health and my feelings and I don't need an award winning blog for either.
